5 Hair Care Tips For Summer Brides On Their Big Day

One of the most stressful things to think about is how your hair will look on the day of your wedding. Of course, everyone has bad hair days, but you obviously don't want one of those days to fall on your wedding day. This is especially true if you are having a summer wedding since the hot air and humidity often leads to the ultimate hair destruction.

To avoid this, you will want to follow these five hair care tips that can help you out:

1. Choose an Easy Hairstyle: For summer brides, it is often recommended to choose a really easy hairstyle. One that is tousled and wind swept allows for more movement and can change shape some without ruining the look. This way you don't have to worry about the outdoor wind messing up your hair or any flyaway hairs looking really out of place. 
2. Using Dry Shampoo: Before getting your hair done by the professional you have hired to do your hair on the big day, you should consider washing it in the morning, blow drying, and then applying a bit of dry shampoo, which will help to add a bit of texture and absorb some oils throughout the night. This is helpful on hot days since oils tend to be more excessive in the heat. 
3. Consider a Blowout:  If you are prone to frizz and you want to wear your hair down on your big day, then you may consider getting a blowout done a few weeks before. This is going to help reduce the frizz and guarantee that your hair looks great down and styled. 
4. Consider Clip-Ins: If you are wearing your hair down, but you know that your hair does not hold curls well, then you may consider adding some clip-ins. Any professional hair stylist you hire will be able to clip these in place for you, but you will probably have to pay for and provide the clip-ins yourself. Clip-ins are going to help add texture and will hold the curls so that if and when the rest of your hair does begin to fall flat, it will still look like it is styled. Just be sure that you match your hair color perfectly and that you don't choose clip-ins that are longer than your actual hair length since it can become obvious and look tacky. 
5. Use a Mascara Wand: If you are considering an up-do on your big day, be sure that you pack a mascara wand that has been sprayed down with hair spray. This way, you can help clean up messy hairs that are sticking out and any flyaway on the top of your head, as well.
